The UPS Store has expanded its footprint in New Jersey in recent months with six new leases totaling more than 10,000 square feet, in a series of deals arranged by RIPCO Real Estate.
In northern New Jersey, franchisees took 1,560 square feet at 429 Market St. in Elmwood Park and 1,300 square feet at 1244-1254 McCarter Highway in Newark. RIPCO’s Matt Grundy and Florian Suserman represented the tenant in the direct deals with the respective landlords, VAP International and Margate Property Management LLC.
The team also completed transactions at 233 Main St. in Ridgefield Park, where the UPS Store leased 1,320 square feet from Ridgefield Park 2015 LLC, and at 421 Valley Brook Road in Lyndhurst, where it signed a 1,992-square-foot commitment with Lyndhurst Town Center LLC. Cynthia La Terra of Weichert and George Marogi of Keller Williams City Views represented the landlords, respectively.
“UPS has always been a great client … and we are excited to see their growth continue to explode in New Jersey,” Grundy said. “We take pride in helping each franchisee find a location they’re happy with while meeting all the brand standards to have a successful store.”
The RIPCO team also completed UPS Store deals in Central Jersey, including a 2,180-square-foot commitment at 1 Walmart Plaza in Clinton, under a direct deal with National Realty & Development Corp. In North Brunswick, the operator took 2,000 square feet at 650 Shoppes Blvd., with The Azarian Group’s Kevin Pelio representing ownership.
