Long-Awaited Hoboken Terminal Redevelopment Project Advances
Hoboken Connect aims to revitalize the area around Hoboken Terminal. The multi-phase project will add residences, offices, retail and open public space. Gov. Phil Murphy committed $176 million from the new fiscal year 2023 state budget for public improvement. LCOR aims to break ground "in the near future" on the Hoboken Connect project. The project will "greatly benefit" millions of commuters, NJ Transit president and chief executive officer Kevin Corbett said. LCOR says it aims to "drive economic development opportunities and invest in NJ Transit infrastructure".
