U.S. Container Depot expands, upgrades capabilities
U.S. Container Depot is expanding in Savannah, Georgia and Newark, New Jersey. The company expects to increase storage capacity by 1,350 containers in the Savannah market. In Newark, the company is building a fully enclosed loaded container pad for safer storage and containment. Savannah-based U.S. Container Depot is expanding into two new sites. The company will have the largest combined facility for ISO tank containers in the region at 9 acres. Company drivers are now paid by the hour, with overtime after 40 hours each week.
